Military PCS · NAS Key West

PCS orders to Key West? We know the gates.

Vehicle transport for service members and families posted to Naval Air Station Key West. Founded by an Army veteran, run on our own trucks, and scheduled around your report date — not a seven-day window.

The Part Nobody Explains

Delivery depends on which installation.

NAS Key West is not one location, and the answer to “can you bring it to my door” changes depending on where you are posted. Most carriers find this out on the day. We sort it before the truck leaves.

🏠

Housing on Key West island

The housing areas out on the island are accessible to us, and we deliver straight to your address — the same as any residential drop. No meeting point, no handover in a car park.

  • Delivered to the door
  • Same process as a civilian residential move
  • Spouse or designated person can receive it
  • Photos taken at pickup and delivery
✈️

The airfield installation

Security there is tighter and a commercial transporter is not getting through the gate. We arrange to meet you just outside instead — agreed in advance, at a spot with room for the truck.

  • Quiet side street near the gate, or
  • The old Sears centre on North Roosevelt
  • Meeting point confirmed before dispatch
  • Driver contacts you directly with timing

Why this matters more than it sounds.

A PCS already has enough moving parts. The failure mode with a national carrier is not that they refuse — it is that nobody checks, the truck arrives, the driver cannot get in, and you are suddenly solving a logistics problem on a day you do not have spare. We ask where you are posted at quote time for exactly that reason.

How It Works

Scheduled around your orders.

Tell us the report date first. Everything else works backwards from it. Getting a vehicle onto a truck usually takes a day or two — sometimes far less if one is already routed your way — so the earlier we have the date, the more room there is to work with.

If you are coming from a duty station outside Florida, the move splits: a vetted partner carrier runs the long haul, and our truck handles the Keys leg. You deal with us throughout. There is no point where you get handed off to a company you have never spoken to.

Coming the other way — leaving Key West — is the same in reverse, and it is a run we make constantly. We pick up at your address or the agreed meeting point and get the vehicle north.

  • Report date drives the schedule, not a delivery window
  • Access confirmed at quote time, not on arrival
  • Second vehicles, motorcycles, trailers and golf carts
  • Open or enclosed — worth considering given 113 miles of salt air
  • Photos at pickup and delivery if you cannot be there

What to have ready.

Nothing complicated, but having these to hand makes the quote faster and the date firmer.

Common Questions

PCS to Key West, answered.

Can you deliver directly to base housing?
To the housing areas on Key West island, yes — we bring the vehicle to your address the same way we would any residential delivery. The airfield installation is more secure and we arrange to meet you just off base instead. Tell us where you are posted when you book and we will tell you which applies before the truck leaves.
Where do you meet if you cannot come on base?
Somewhere easy and close. Usually a quiet side street near the gate, or a nearby shopping centre — the old Sears centre on North Roosevelt is the spot most people already know, and it has room for a transporter to turn around. We agree the exact point with you in advance, not on the day.
Can you work to my report date?
That is the point of asking for it up front. Give us the date on your orders and we schedule backwards from it rather than handing you a delivery window and hoping. Getting a vehicle onto a truck usually takes a day or two, so the earlier we know, the more room we have.
Do you ship a second vehicle, or a motorcycle?
Yes — second POVs, motorcycles, trailers and golf carts all move alongside cars and trucks. Golf carts in particular are worth knowing about, since a lot of families pick one up once they arrive in the Keys.
Do you handle the leg from outside Florida too?
Yes, with one distinction we state plainly: within Florida the truck is ours. Coming from a duty station outside the state, a vetted partner carrier runs the long haul and our truck takes the Keys leg. You deal with us either way — there is no point where you get handed to a stranger.
Is my vehicle insured in transit?
Yes. In-N-Out Keys is FMCSA registered and carries cargo insurance, and any partner carrier used for an out-of-state leg is vetted and verified beforehand. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
